Part-Time Retail Management Intern

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Part-Time Retail Management Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience in retail management, offering a unique opportunity to learn about various aspects of store operations, customer service, and sales strategies. The ideal candidate will be proactive, customer-focused, and eager to gain practical knowledge in a fast-paced retail environment. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: 
  • Assist customers with inquiries, purchases, and returns in a professional and friendly manner. 
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. 
  • Sales Support: 
  • Support sales initiatives and promotional activities. 
  • Assist in visual merchandising and maintaining store presentation standards. 
  • Participate in inventory management, including stock replenishment and organization. 
  • Operational Support: 
  • Assist in daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures. 
  • Support the store management team with administrative tasks and reporting. 
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment. 
  • Learning and Development: 
  • Shadow experienced retail managers to understand store operations and management principles. 
  • Participate in training sessions on customer service, sales techniques, and inventory management. 
  • Gain insights into business strategies, retail analytics, and performance metrics. 



  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., Business, Retail Management, Marketing). 
  • Strong interest in retail management and a desire to pursue a career in the retail industry. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
  • Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
