1. What is the difference between an air purifier and Speco Ion?


Speco Ion comprises of:

1. A medical-grade H13 HEPA filter, which is pre-coated with Speco Anti-Viral Coating for dual sanitizing effect.

2. Speco Ion features Ambient Technology through “Speco+ mode” function which actively destroy germs and viruses in the air by releasing Speco+. The Speco+ then gradually settles on surrounding surfaces, providing additional sanitization.

3. The Speco Ion is safe for pets and babies, and has no impact on the development of individual's immune system. 

4. The Speco Ion is able to remove formaldehyde from newly renovated offices and homes.

2. What do I refill Speco Ion with?
Speco Ion is compatible with Speco+ Air or Speco+ Mozzie refill. We do not recommend using other solutions as they have not been tested and use with Speco Ion.
3. Does Speco Ion require any frequent maintenance?
Speco Ion requires filter replacement once every 12 months.
4. Where should Speco Ion be placed in the home and office?
Speco Ion can be placed at either at your living room where most people gather or your own bedroom. It is also suitable for office use.
5. How do I automate tasks with Speco Ion’s App? Is it compatible with ios and android?
Speco Ion can be paired with Tuya app on both IOS and Android via Wifi connection. You may schedule your hygiene routine via our step-by-step guide here.
6. Can I see or feel the Speco Ion?
Yes, of course! You can visit our experience centre for a product demo and to also try it out yourself. However, please note that showroom visits are strictly by appointment only so that we can assign you a personal guide.
7. How long is the warranty?
The warranty is 1 year. We currently offer a free warranty extension to 2 years.
